I started A Stash of Faith yesterday afternoon and am finding it a great read. Parker and Malcolm are composites of several guys that immediately come to my mind at the correctional institution where I volunteer. Gram Sloan is also a similar person in the life of many of these guys in prison. For a large majority of them, the mother or grandmother is the only source of stability and love in their life. I look forward to seeing how Parker’s life unfolds as I finish the book.
